How to take
Adult dose

Precautions

If severe rashes, blisters, or itching occur during the use of this drug, discontinue use immediately and consult a health professional. Children under 2 years should generally not use this medication, and parental supervision is required during use. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and duration, avoid long-term use, and it is advisable not to drink alcohol while using this medicine. Drowsiness may occur during use, so it's safer to avoid driving or operating machinery. Particular care is needed when taking this drug with certain diuretics or products containing licorice as symptoms of hypokalemia or muscle abnormalities may arise. Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, difficulty urinating, thirst, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, fatigue, glutamic acid acidosis, drowsiness, gastrointestinal issues (heartburn, gastric discomfort, stomach pains), headaches, itching, fever, rashes, redness

Interactions
Drug interactions
This medication should not be taken with MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson’s drugs, etc.), cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or oral antihistamines (oral medications for rhinitis, motion sickness, or allergy). It should also not be taken within 2 weeks of stopping MAO inhibitors. Additionally, care should be taken with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates
Food interactions
Do not take this drug with alcohol. Also, do not take it with potassium-containing products, licorice-containing products, glycyrrhizin acid, or its salts.
