1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: Take 250-500 mg of naproxen orally, twice daily (every 12 hours). 2. Acute gout: Initially take 750 mg of naproxen orally, then take 250 mg every 8 hours until the attack resolves. 3. Musculoskeletal disorders, postoperative pain, pain after tooth extraction, dysmenorrhea, tendinitis, bursitis: Initially take 500 mg of naproxen orally, then take 250 mg every 6-8 hours. Do not exceed a total daily dose of 1,250 mg. 4. Migraine: Take 750 mg of naproxen orally as an initial dose. If needed, additional doses of 250-500 mg can be taken within one day, administered 30 minutes after the initial dose. Do not exceed a total daily dose of 1,250 mg. Adjust dosage according to age and symptoms.

This medication is effective in treating joint and inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It is also helpful in alleviating pain caused by tendinitis and acute gout. It is used to relieve symptoms of dysmenorrhea in women. Additionally, it can be used to manage pain from bursitis, sprains or strains of muscles and the musculoskeletal system, trauma, postoperative pain, migraine, and pain after tooth extraction. In summary, it is widely used for the treatment of various types of pain and inflammatory diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: Take 250-500 mg of naproxen orally, twice daily (every 12 hours). 2. Such side effects can occur suddenly without symptoms, so if any gastrointestinal issues arise during use, one should visit a hospital immediately. Older adults are at greater risk, so they need to be particularly cautious when using this medication. People with peptic ulcers, severe blood disorders, liver dysfunction, heart failure, kidney disease, or severe hypertension should not take this medication. Those who have allergies to this medication or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory pain relievers, or have a history of allergies such as asthma, rhinitis, or hives should also avoid use. Individuals with a history of peptic ulcers, blood disorders, liver dysfunction, kidney disease, heart failure, hypertension, or allergies should use this medication with caution, particularly older individuals. This medication can rarely cause severe allergic reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver or kidney dysfunction, skin rashes, and respiratory difficulties. If any of these symptoms occur, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and a doctor should be consulted. This medication should be taken at the lowest possible dose for the necessary duration. Regular blood tests and monitoring of liver and kidney functions are required for long-term use. This medication should not be taken with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and it may interact with certain blood pressure medications, diuretics, anticoagulants, and antibiotics. Therefore, if you are taking other medications, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and naproxen derivatives. It may interact with hydantoins, sulfonamides, sulfonylurea-based hypoglycemic agents, propranolol, and other beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors (such as captopril), loop-diuretics and thiazides, probenecid, aspirin, lithium, methotrexate, coumarin anticoagulants (such as warfarin), zidovudine, and quinolone antibiotics (such as enoxacin).
