Neotus Tablets (Levodropropizine)

Adult dosage

Adults: Administer 60 mg per dose orally 3 times daily, at intervals of at least 6 hours. Adjust the dose appropriately according to symptoms.

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients. Do not administer to patients with excessive bronchial mucus secretion or dysfunction of the mucociliary system. Women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breastfeeding should not take this medication. It is also unsuitable for patients with severe liver dysfunction. This medication contains lactose, so it is advisable for patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic issues to avoid it. Patients with significantly impaired cardiac function, severe renal function impairment, elderly patients, or children under 2 years old require special caution when using this medication. Possible side effects may include nausea, indigestion, diarrhea, headache, or dizziness, and rarely severe allergic reactions may occur. This medication may cause drowsiness or semi-consciousness; caution is advised while driving or operating machinery, especially when taken with alcohol, as symptoms may worsen. Extra caution is required if used in conjunction with sedatives. Keep out of reach of children, and avoid transferring the medication to another container as it may negatively affect quality.
