Precautions

This drug is a beta-lactam antibiotic belonging to the penicillin class, and patients with a history of allergic reactions to this drug's components or similar drugs should not use it. Special caution is required for patients with certain viral infections such as infectious mononucleosis or lymphocytic leukemia, as there is a risk of exacerbation of rash. For patients with impaired liver function or moderate to severe kidney dysfunction, medication concentration may increase, necessitating careful administration. Caution is also necessary for those with allergies, elderly patients, or those with gastrointestinal diseases, as side effects may occur more easily. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain may occur, and in severe cases, serious adverse reactions such as pseudomembranous colitis can occur; immediate consultation with a doctor is necessary if symptoms appear. Signs of hypersensitivity may include liver dysfunction, blood abnormalities, skin rashes, and respiratory difficulties; if these symptoms occur, stop taking the medication and inform medical personnel. This drug may interact with other medications, so if the patient is taking other drugs, it is mandatory to inform medical personnel, especially with anticoagulants, anti-inflammatory drugs, and oral contraceptives. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a doctor before use, and it is better to avoid usage during the first three months of pregnancy. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age or weighing less than 40 kg due to insufficient usage experience. The elderly are at risk of bleeding due to decreased renal function and vitamin K deficiency, necessitating careful observation while adjusting the dosage and administration intervals. In case of overdose, gastrointestinal symptoms, decreased kidney function, and allergic reactions may appear, requiring immediate medical assistance. When storing, keep in a sealed container to avoid moisture, and maintain it in a cool, dry place below 25 degrees Celsius.
