This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of the common cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Take 2 capsules 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three cups of alcohol per day must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. This medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if rash or itching appears, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Caution is required not to exceed the maximum daily dosage, as it contains acetaminophen, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing products. Because it contains pseudoephedrine, if skin abnormalities such as fever, red spots, or pus blisters occur, discontinue use and consult a professional. Do not take this medication if you have experienced allergic reactions to it, have specific genetic lactose intolerance, severe hypertension, or serious kidney disease. For safety, it is advisable not to take this medication together with other cold medicines, cough suppressants, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children with suspected chickenpox or influenza, those with specific conditions, or a history of drug allergies must consult a professional before taking this medication. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication in combination with MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson's medications, etc.), cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines such as oral decongestants for rhinitis, motion sickness medications, or allergy medications. Diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, alcohol, potassium-containing agents, and licorice-containing products are also to be avoided.
