This medication treats conjunctival epithelial disorders caused by endogenous factors such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane pemphigoid, and dry eye syndrome, and is also used for conjunctival epithelial disorders caused by external factors such as postoperative conditions, drug side effects, trauma, and contact lens wear.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop 5-6 times a day. Adjust as necessary according to symptoms. Typically, a 0.1% formulation is administered, and if insufficiently effective in severe diseases, a 0.3% formulation is used.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients allergic to protein-based drugs or any of its ingredients. Symptoms such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, corneal damage, and a foreign body sensation may occur, and rarely, discharge or pain can develop. If any of these symptoms occur, use should be discontinued immediately and appropriate measures should be taken. Occasionally, eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, and if these symptoms appear, the use of the medication should be stopped, and treatment should be sought. The incidence of side effects may be increased when used in conjunction with corticosteroids, dry eye treatments, antibacterials, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract medications, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory pain relievers. In overseas cases, side effects such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctival redness, and eyelid inflammation have been reported in about 1.76% of patients. If any of these symptoms occur, the use of the medication should be discontinued immediately, and appropriate treatment should be sought. This medication should not be used concurrently with other eye drops. If it must be used with other drops, this medication should be administered 30 minutes after the other droppers. This medication is an eye drop-only formulation, and care should be taken to avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eyelid or eyelashes. Otherwise, the medication may become contaminated, and contaminated medication must not be used. The preservative benzalkonium chloride contained in this medication can adhere to soft contact lenses, so it should not be used while wearing lenses, and lenses should be worn at least 15 minutes after use. To prevent infection, it is advisable to avoid sharing the medication with others whenever possible. Keep out of reach of children, and store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Do not transfer the medication to another container, as this may pose a risk of misuse and degrade the quality of the medication.

Eyelid pruritus (itchiness of eyelids), eye irritation, conjunctivitis, redness, conjunctival hyperemia, superficial punctate keratitis and other corneal disorders, foreign body sensation, discharge, eye pain, blepharitis, eyelid dermatitis
