View approved original textHide original text
This medication is used as a maintenance therapy to relieve the symptoms of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD, and to aid in the dilation of the bronchi. Bronchodilators relax the muscles of the airways, making it easier to breathe and improving dyspnea. It helps reduce symptoms caused by chronic airway obstruction and improves the patient's quality of life. Regular use plays an important role in preventing the deterioration of lung function and the recurrence of symptoms. This drug is effectively used for maintenance therapy of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Precautions
This medication should not be used as an emergency drug for the treatment of acute bronchospasm. An immediate hypersensitivity reaction may occur after administration, and if such symptoms arise, drug use should be immediately discontinued and alternative therapy sought. This medication may rarely cause fatal bronchoconstriction; therefore, if such symptoms occur, use should be immediately stopped and a doctor consulted. Individuals with conditions such as glaucoma, benign prostatic hyperplasia, or bladder obstruction should exercise special caution when using this drug and should stop use immediately and consult a doctor if related symptoms occur. Prolonged dry mouth may increase the risk of cavities, so oral hygiene should be maintained. Patients who have an allergy to the components of this drug or certain genetic issues should not use it. Patients with heart disease or severe heart failure should also carefully consider the use of this medication. Common side effects may include headache, rhinitis, cough, nausea, dry mouth, etc. Serious side effects can occur rarely, so if abnormal symptoms persist, medical staff should be notified immediately. Use with other anticholinergics is not recommended; however, it may be combined with certain treatments for lung diseases. Caution should be taken as dizziness or blurred vision may occur while driving or operating machinery. The safety of this drug during pregnancy has not been established; it should be used cautiously only when necessary, and during breastfeeding, a decision should be made after consulting a doctor. Use in children under 18 years is not recommended due to insufficient experience. Overdose may result in anticholinergic symptoms, but serious adverse reactions are rare at normal dosages. This medication should be inhaled as directed, and following the instructions accurately is necessary for effectiveness. When storing, keep it out of reach of children and ensure it is not transferred to another container.
