How to take

Adult dose

Generally, adults (15 years and older) take 1 packet (dose) 3 times a day after meals, with each dose taken 30 minutes after eating. If needed, it can be taken at bedtime, with a dosing interval of 4 hours.

Precautions

This medicine should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist if you regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily, as taking it may pose a risk of liver damage. This medicine may rarely cause serious skin reactions. Conditions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and toxic epidermal necrolysis may occur, and these symptoms can be life-threatening. Therefore, if any skin rash or allergic symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medicine contains acetaminophen and should not exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000mg. Additionally, do not take other medications containing acetaminophen to reduce the risk of liver damage. Individuals with hypersensitivity to this medicine or who have experienced allergic reactions to this or similar ingredients should not take it. Those with a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, or those currently taking or recently discontinuing certain antidepressants, such as MAO inhibitors, should also avoid taking this medicine. While taking this medicine, do not take cough medicines, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic conditions or liver, kidney, or heart diseases, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult with healthcare professionals before taking this medicine. If abnormal symptoms such as rashes, itching, vomiting, or dizziness occur while taking this medicine, stop taking it immediately and visit a hospital. Though rare, if anaphylactic shock, severe skin conditions, asthma attacks, liver dysfunction, or pneumonia symptoms occur, inform a healthcare professional immediately. This medicine is not to be given to children under the age of 2 years, and if necessary, medical consultation is required. It is important to adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and to avoid prolonged use. Avoid alcohol, and be cautious as the risk of side effects may increase when taken with certain medications. Finally, this medicine should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. Be careful as transferring it to another container may lead to misuse and degradation of quality.

Interactions

Drug interactions

This medicine should not be taken in conjunction with MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and anti-Parkinson's drugs), cough suppressants, expectorants, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, antihistamines, and other products containing acetaminophen. Additionally, avoid concurrently using barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, alcohol, potassium-containing preparations, loop diuretics (like furosemide and ethacrynic acid), and thiazide diuretics (like trichlormethiazide).

Food interactions

This medicine may interact with licorice-containing products, glycyrrhizic acid, or its salts.

Storage
