Treatment of bacterial infections (respiratory, urinary) and inflammation relief
This medication is effective against various bacterial infections. It is used for respiratory diseases such as acute and chronic bronchitis, lobar pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, empyema, lung abscess, tonsillitis, sinusitis, and otitis media. It is also applicable for urinary tract infections including cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, and is helpful in treating pelvic infections and gonorrhea. It is effective for skin abscesses and pyogenic infections, soft tissue infections, wound infections, as well as osteomyelitis and dental infections. It is utilized for a wide range of bacterial infection treatments to aid in the recovery of patients' health.
For mild to moderate infections such as recurrent tonsillitis, upper respiratory infections, lower respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, and skin/soft tissue infections, the typical dosage is 25 mg of amoxicillin/3.6 mg of clavulanate potassium per kg of body weight, divided into two doses. For severe infections such as otitis media, sinusitis, lower respiratory infections like bronchopneumonia, and urinary tract infections, the usual dosage is 45 mg of amoxicillin/6.4 mg of clavulanate potassium per kg of body weight, divided into two doses.
The 7:1 syrup is not suitable for children under 2 months old. The 7:1 syrup is unsuitable for pediatric patients with renal failure. The dosage is adjusted based on weight in kg and is usually taken twice a day.
This medicine contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, and should not be administered to patients with phenylketonuria. The aspartame content should be adjusted below the WHO recommended levels, using only the minimal amount possible. It should not be given to patients who have had allergic reactions to the components of this drug or to penicillin antibiotics. It should be avoided in patients with infectious mononucleosis or lymphocytic leukemia due to the risk of rash. Patients with liver dysfunction or a history of jaundice should be cautious due to the risk of recurrence. It should not be given to patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic abnormalities. Caution should be exercised in patients with liver dysfunction due to the potential for aggravation of liver function. Patients with moderate to severe renal impairment may need interval adjustments due to increased drug concentration. Those with a predisposition to allergic reactions should be monitored. Patients who find it difficult to take orally, the elderly, or patients in poor general condition should be observed for vitamin K deficiency symptoms. Patients with gastrointestinal disorders may have impaired absorption, hence caution is advised. If symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, or bloody stool occur while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately, and a doctor should be consulted. Symptoms of liver function abnormalities may appear during or after treatment, requiring careful observation. Rarely, severe skin rashes or allergic reactions may occur; discontinuation should occur immediately if any abnormal symptoms arise. Blood-related abnormalities have also been reported rarely, hence regular testing may be required. If symptoms of central nervous system abnormalities or renal function abnormalities occur, immediate medical attention should be sought. Prolonged use may lead to the development of resistant bacteria, hence it should be used for the minimum duration necessary. The use of this drug is restricted in pregnant or breastfeeding women, especially in early pregnancy, it is advisable to avoid its use. The elderly may experience adverse reactions more easily due to reduced physiological function, hence dosages and intervals should be adjusted cautiously. This drug can interact with other medications, so any concurrent medications should be disclosed to a doctor or pharmacist. In cases of overdose, gastrointestinal symptoms or neurological abnormalities may appear, requiring immediate visit to a medical facility. This drug should be refrigerated after preparation and used within 7 days. Before use, shake well and store the medication away from direct sunlight in a dry place.

Diarrhea, colitis, dyspepsia, stomatitis, gastritis, glossitis, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, abdominal bloating, constipation, colonic pain, acid reflux, loose stools, dry mouth, bloody stool, candidiasis, hepatitis, elevation of AST, ALT, ALP, LDH, serum bilirubin, itching, erythema multiforme, skin rash, angioedema, symptoms of serum sickness (fever, rash, arthralgia, edema, lymphadenopathy), hypersensitivity vasculitis, pustulosis

This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent air or moisture ingress, and it is best to maintain the storage temperature between 1 degree and 25 degrees Celsius. This will help preserve the efficacy and safety of the drug.
