Antiseptic for oral cavity and alleviation of inflammation such as pharyngitis and laryngitis.
This medication helps improve oral hygiene by sterilizing and disinfecting oral bacteria. It is used to treat inflammation in the throat area, such as pharyngitis and laryngitis, and is also effective for stomatitis. Additionally, it serves as a sterilizing and disinfecting agent to prevent infection following tooth extraction or oral surgery. It is also used to treat halitosis, relieving unpleasant odors in the mouth. Thus, it is effectively used for various diseases and symptoms of the oral cavity and throat.
Apply an appropriate amount several times a day.
This medicine should not be used by individuals allergic to this drug or its components. Patients with any thyroid dysfunction should avoid using this medication. It is safest for children under 6 years not to use this drug. Individuals undergoing radioactive iodine treatment or in the treatment period should avoid this medication. Before using this drug, individuals with severe oral ulcers or wounds, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers must consult a doctor or pharmacist. If allergic reactions such as rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing occur while using this drug, stop using it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Be cautious as irritation, ulceration in the mouth, and nausea may occur. Rarely, serious symptoms such as dermatitis or angioedema, pneumonia may develop, so consult a doctor immediately if such symptoms appear. This drug may affect thyroid function, so individuals with a history of thyroid disease should be particularly cautious. Always follow recommended dosages and administration; parental supervision is required when children use this drug. This medication is for oral use only, and vigorous rinsing should be avoided before bleeding stops after tooth extraction. There should be at least a 4-week interval between thyroid scintigraphy and administration of this drug. If severe allergic symptoms occur suddenly after use, go to a hospital immediately. Excessive use may result in iodine toxicity, so caution is necessary. If it gets on clothing or objects, wash it immediately; take immediate action if it enters the eyes or in case of overdose. Be careful to avoid contact with jewelry, especially silver products. If symptoms do not improve or worsen, consult a doctor. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children and kept away from direct sunlight. Store in the original container tightly closed; transferring it to another container may pose a risk of misuse or degradation of quality. Do not apply heat before use.
