Cough and phlegm are common symptoms in respiratory diseases, and this medication is used to relieve coughing and assist in the expulsion of phlegm.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Aged 15 years and above: 1 capsule, 3 times a day

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months old. Individuals who have hypersensitivity to this medication or its components, or have a history of such reactions, should avoid taking it. People currently taking or who have discontinued MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and anti-Parkinson's medications) within the last 2 weeks should not take this medication. During treatment with this medication, other cough medicines, expectorants, cold medicines, antihistamines, and sedatives should not be taken simultaneously. Individuals with allergies or a history of allergic symptoms such as fever, rash, arthralgia, or itching due to medications must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. People with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, or urinary difficulties, as well as the elderly, those in poor health, or with high fever, should consult a healthcare professional prior to taking this medication. It is important for pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers, to consult a doctor before taking this medication. If coughs that are excessive, lasting over 1 week, or recur are accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headaches, consultation with a healthcare professional is also recommended before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, urinary difficulties, persistent or severe thirst, anxiety, trembling, or insomnia occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult with a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve even after 5-6 doses, stop taking the medication and consult a healthcare professional. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years of age, except under medical supervision. It is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and usage instructions for this medication. For children under 7 years of age, syrup formulation is preferred over soft capsules. Alcohol should not be consumed during treatment, and due to the possibility of drowsiness, driving or operating machinery should be avoided. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, in a cool, dry, and airtight container, away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer the medication to another container.
