This drug is effective against various bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Escherichia coli. It is used to treat respiratory infections such as acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, empyema, lung abscess, tonsillitis, sinusitis, and otitis media. It is also suitable for treating urogenital infections such as cystitis, urethritis, nephritis, as well as pelvic infections and gonorrhea. It is effective for skin and soft tissue infections such as boils, abscesses, and wound infections, and is also used to treat osteomyelitis and dental infections. This medication helps comprehensively improve various bacterial infection diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

For severe infections and respiratory infections, take 2 tablets orally, twice a day every 12 hours.

Precautions

This drug should not be used in patients who have had hypersensitivity reactions to specific components or beta-lactam antibiotics. Caution is especially needed in patients with viral infections such as infectious mononucleosis or lymphocytic leukemia, as there is an increased risk of rash. Patients with liver dysfunction or genetic metabolic disorders such as lactose intolerance should not take this drug. Additionally, it should be administered cautiously to patients with liver impairment or severe renal impairment, as drug concentration may increase. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, and vomiting may occur during treatment with this drug, and if serious gastrointestinal symptoms such as pseudomembranous colitis arise, the medication should be discontinued immediately and a doctor's care sought. Various side effects can occur, including liver dysfunction, skin rash, hypersensitivity, blood disorders, and nervous system abnormalities, so any unusual symptoms should be reported to healthcare professionals immediately. Severe allergic reactions may occur in patients with allergic predispositions or those who have had hypersensitivity reactions to penicillin drugs, so a medical history must be confirmed before administration. Diarrhea, pseudomembranous colitis, indigestion, stomatitis, gastritis, glossitis, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, colonic pain, hyperacidity, loose stools, dry mouth, candidiasis, antibiotic-associated colitis, itching, erythema multiforme, dermatitis, serum sickness rash, arthralgia, edema, lymphadenopathy, blood system abnormalities (leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia, anemia, thrombocytosis, bone marrow suppression, etc.)
