Cough, phlegm, and asthma are representative symptoms of respiratory diseases. This medicine is used to alleviate these respiratory disease symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, adults (15 years and older) take 2 capsules per dose, 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, infants under 3 months of age, and individuals allergic to this medicine or its ingredients. Additionally, those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics, such as MAO inhibitors, or who have stopped taking them within the last two weeks should not use this medicine. Since this medicine contains lactose, individuals with genetic conditions such as lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid it. It is important not to take other cough expectorants, cold medications, antihistamines, or sedatives while using this medicine. People with a history of allergies or previous allergic reactions to medications, those with liver, kidney, heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, elderly individuals, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Consultation with a specialist is especially necessary for smokers or those with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or those who have a prolonged cough. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, urinary difficulties, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur during use, immediately discontinue use and consult a professional. Serious side effects such as increased blood pressure, edema, or muscle weakness can rarely occur, so if these symptoms appear, stop use and consult a doctor. Children under 2 years old should not take this medicine except under special circumstances, and must follow the doctor's instructions if they do. Strictly adhere to the indicated dosage and administration, and especially supervise children when administering. Avoid alcohol, and be cautious as drowsiness may occur during use, which may impair driving or machine operation. Using potassium-containing preparations or certain diuretics can increase the risk of side effects, so take care when using them. Keep this medicine out of reach of children, store in a cool, tightly sealed place away from direct sunlight and humidity, and it is important not to transfer it to another container to maintain quality.

Drug interactions
