This drug is used to relieve the major symptoms of cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and above: 2 capsules per dose, 3 times a day Take 30 minutes after meals

Child dose

Ages 8 to under 15: 1 capsule per dose, 3 times a day Take 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication may place a burden on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. The acetaminophen component in this medication can rarely cause severe skin reactions, so if a rash or allergy symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. The maximum recommended daily dose of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000 mg, and caution should be taken as concurrent use of this drug with other medications containing acetaminophen may cause liver damage. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions to this medication or who have experienced asthma symptoms from previous use of this or similar medications, infants under three months, individuals currently taking or who have recently discontinued specific antidepressants or psychiatric medications, and those with genetic disorders such as lactose intolerance should not take this medication. Avoid concomitant use with cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, and antihistamines. Infants infected with chickenpox or influenza and children under 15, individuals with allergic predispositions, those with major organ diseases such as liver or kidney disease, elderly patients, pregnant or nursing women, and individuals with specific cough symptoms should consult a professional before taking this medication. If abnormal symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Do not administer this medication to children under 2 years of age, and if necessary, ensure to consult a doctor. When taking, adhere to the prescribed dosage and directions, avoid prolonged continuous use, abstain from alcoholic beverages, and be cautious of drowsiness when driving or operating machinery. Additionally, this medication may cause metabolic issues when used with certain other medications, so inform a professional of any other medications being taken. Store this medication out of reach of children, in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight in a sealed container, and do not transfer it to another container to maintain quality.

Interactions

Drug interactions
