Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used for the treatment of acute and chronic pain from moderate to severe.
Children aged 12 and older and adults: The dosage is adjusted according to the patient's pain severity and treatment response. An initial dose of 4 tablets is recommended, and thereafter the dosing interval should be at least 6 hours, not exceeding 16 tablets in a day. The valid minimum dose should be administered for the shortest duration possible. Avoid unnecessary long-term use of this medication, and if long-term use is required due to the nature and severity of the disease, regular monitoring should be conducted to determine the need for continued use of this medication. Elderly Generally administer the adult dose. However, in elderly patients over 75 years, the half-life of tramadol has been increased by 17%, hence dosing should be provided with at least 6 hours interval. Renal Impairment For moderate renal impairment patients (creatinine clearance of 10-30 ml/min), dosing intervals should be extended to 12 hours. For severe renal impairment patients (creatinine clearance of less than 10 ml/min), it is not recommended to administer. Tramadol is removed very slowly during dialysis and filtration, so there is no need to re-administer this medication after dialysis for continued analgesic effect. Liver Impairment For moderate liver impairment patients, consider carefully extending the dosing interval. It is not recommended to administer to patients with severe liver impairment.
The dosage is the same as for children aged 12 and older and adults.
