This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension who have not achieved sufficient blood pressure control with amlodipine or valsartan monotherapy.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time daily (e.g., in the morning). The safety and efficacy of this medication in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established, therefore its use is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, therefore it should be discontinued immediately once pregnancy is confirmed. Patients who are allergic to the active ingredients or similar classes of medications, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with severe renal or hepatic diseases, and patients with certain vascular diseases should not take this medication. Patients with insufficient sodium or fluid in the body should check their condition before taking this medication, and if symptoms of hypotension occur during treatment, they should lie down immediately and receive IV fluids if necessary. Patients with high potassium levels or taking potassium-sparing diuretics should have their potassium levels monitored frequently, and patients with impaired renal function should exercise caution.
