Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have an allergic reaction to this drug or its components. It contains lactose, so patients with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. This medication is not for treating acute asthma attacks or bronchospasm; therefore, other appropriate medications should be prepared for emergencies. It can be continued during asthma attacks, but abrupt switching to other corticosteroids should be avoided. It is important not to use this medication alone for exercise-induced bronchospasm; inhaled bronchodilators should be used in conjunction. Patients with aspirin hypersensitivity should avoid taking aspirin or NSAIDs while on this medication. Rarely, serious side effects such as systemic eosinophilia and vasculitis may occur during treatment; therefore, if symptoms such as rash, worsening lung symptoms, heart issues, or neurological symptoms arise, immediate consultation with a physician is necessary. During pregnancy, it should be used cautiously and only when necessary, and caution is also required during breastfeeding. Safety for children, especially those under 6 months, has not been established; they should use it only under a doctor's direction. In case of overdose, there is no specific antidote; general treatment and observation are required, and medical attention should be sought immediately if symptoms appear. Keep this medication out of reach of children and do not transfer it to other containers. While taking this medication, if asthma symptoms worsen or neurological symptoms appear, inform your doctor immediately and do not arbitrarily reduce or discontinue other asthma treatments. All patients are recommended to carry a fast-acting inhaled bronchodilator for emergencies.
