Precautions

This medication may affect liver function, so if signs of liver dysfunction or jaundice occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. The zinc component in this medication may interfere with copper absorption, potentially leading to copper deficiency, so caution is advised, especially for patients with poor nutritional status. If allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or hives occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, dyspepsia, constipation, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur during treatment, so if symptoms are severe, consult healthcare professionals. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication if the benefits of treatment are believed to outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established. Breastfeeding women are advised to avoid breastfeeding as this medication can transfer into breast milk. Safety in pediatric patients has not been confirmed, so it is preferable not to use in children. Elderly patients may have decreased gastrointestinal function, so dosage should be reduced or closely monitored during administration. This medication may reduce the efficacy when taken with penicillamine or levothyroxine sodium, so attention is needed to take these medications with an appropriate interval.
