This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of a cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and over: Take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Child dose

Aged over 7 years to under 15 years: Take 1 capsule three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication requires caution regarding liver health. Individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication or any other analgesic antipyretics, as liver damage may occur. This medication can cause rare but serious skin reactions; if symptoms like rash or itching occur, stop taking immediately and consult a professional. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen contained in this medication must not exceed 4,000 mg, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing products to reduce the risk of liver damage. Additionally, if skin abnormalities such as fever, redness, or small blisters occur while taking medications containing pseudoephedrine, stop taking and consult a professional. This medication should not be taken by individuals with a history of certain allergies or asthma, infants under 3 months of age, those taking or having recently stopped MAO inhibitors, patients with severe hypertension, or those with serious kidney disease. Drug interactions

Do not take with oral medications containing cough suppressants, other cold medications, analgesic antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Do not take if you are currently taking or have stopped MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson drugs, etc.) within the last two weeks. Consult a doctor or pharmacist when taking with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, or tricyclic antidepressants.
