This medicine is used to effectively relieve various symptoms caused by colds, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

15 years and older and adults: Take 2 capsules three times a day after meals, 30 minutes apart.

Child dose

Over 7 years to under 15 years: Take 1 capsule three times a day after meals, 30 minutes apart.

Precautions

This drug can put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If severe rashes or blisters appear on the skin while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Care should be taken not to exceed a maximum of 4,000mg per day, as it contains acetaminophen, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing medications. This drug contains pseudoephedrine and should be discontinued if fever, skin rash, or small blisters occur, and a doctor should be consulted. Individuals allergic to this drug or its components, those with a history of asthma, infants under three months of age, individuals taking certain antidepressants, or patients with severe hypertension or kidney disease should not take this medication. During use, it is safest not to take this drug with other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children, especially those under 15 years of age or infants with chickenpox or influenza, as well as those with allergic constitution or liver, kidney, or heart diseases should definitely consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, severe shortness of breath, high fever, or severe headache appear after taking, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. It is usually better not to administer to children under 2 years of age unless in special circumstances, and strict supervision by a guardian is necessary during administration. Be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration, avoid long-term use, refrain from drinking alcohol during treatment, and be cautious as drowsiness may occur, thus avoiding driving or operating machinery. Care must be taken when taking this drug alongside certain antibiotics, as serious metabolic disturbances may occur in rare cases, and consumption should be stopped immediately if any suspicious symptoms arise.   • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormalities with cough + fever → respiratory issues
  • Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver abnormalities (jaundice)
  • Sudden and severe symptoms

Mild side effects

Rash, redness (hyperemia), itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling (edema), difficulty urinating, dryness of mouth, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with cough suppressants (expectorants), other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Do not take if you are currently taking or have discontinued MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson drugs, etc.) within the last 2 weeks. Avoid taking with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, and tricyclic antidepressants.

Food interactions

Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication.

Storage

This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it must be kept in a sealed container. Maintaining a storage temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature is advisable to preserve the medication's effectiveness for an extended period.
