This medication helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It is particularly effective in reducing the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke in the elderly, smokers, patients with hypertension, and those with a family history. Additionally, it reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke in patients with type 2 diabetes and helps prevent heart failure and angina. In hyperlipidemia patients, it lowers total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol levels while increasing HDL-cholesterol levels to improve overall lipid profile. It is also used in conjunction with dietary management for familial hypercholesterolemia in young children to help manage cholesterol levels. This medication is utilized to manage and improve various cardiovascular risk factors.

How to take

Precautions
