Precautions

This medication is a penicillin antibiotic and should not be administered to certain patients. For example, patients who have had allergic reactions to this drug's ingredients or beta-lactam antibiotics may experience severe allergic symptoms from using this medication. Additionally, patients with viral infections such as infectious mononucleosis or lymphocytic leukemia may have a higher risk of rash. Patients with liver function problems should avoid using this medication as it may cause recurrence of liver damage. This drug contains lactose, so patients who are genetically unable to digest lactose should not take it. Patients with reduced liver function or moderate to severe kidney function impairment should use this medication cautiously and adjust the dosage and interval, as the blood concentration may increase. Patients with allergic predispositions or those experiencing vomiting or diarrhea that complicate drug absorption should also be cautious when taking this medication. This medication can cause various gastrointestinal side effects; if symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain occur, one should consult a doctor immediately. Liver function abnormalities may also occur rarely, so it is important to monitor liver health regularly, especially in the elderly or those taking the medication for a long time. Rarely, skin rashes, hives, or severe skin reactions may occur, and if these symptoms develop, the medication should be discontinued immediately. Blood-related adverse reactions such as leukopenia and anemia have been reported, so regular blood tests may be necessary. Symptoms of central nervous system abnormalities such as dizziness, headache, or seizures may occur rarely, so caution is advised. There is also a risk of kidney function deterioration, so kidney status should be monitored continuously, and if abnormalities are noted, healthcare personnel should be informed immediately. This drug may disrupt the balance of intestinal bacteria, leading to infections such as candidiasis; thus, if there are any unusual symptoms in the oral or vaginal areas, one should report them. There may be a tendency for bleeding due to vitamin K deficiency, so caution is required if bleeding symptoms are present. It is best to avoid this medication during early pregnancy, and nursing women should be cautious as side effects may occur in the infant. Safety in premature infants and neonates has not been established, so use should be avoided. Elderly patients are at higher risk of side effects due to reduced bodily functions, requiring dose adjustments and monitoring of their condition. This medication may interact with other drugs, so if there are any concomitant medications, one should consult a doctor or pharmacist. In the case of overdose, gastrointestinal and neurological symptoms may occur, necessitating an immediate visit to a medical institution and, if necessary, appropriate emergency treatment. The medication should be stored in a sealed container after preparation and used within 7 days, and it should be shaken well before use.
