Adult dose

Adults and those 15 years and older: Take 100 mg of Ivy Leaf 70% Ethanol Liquid Extract three times a day.

Child dose

Ages 4 to 14: Take 100 mg of this medication twice a day. Ages 2 to 3: Take 50 mg of this medication three times a day.

This medication should not be taken by anyone who has had an allergic reaction to this medication or any of its components. This medication contains sorbitol or fructose, so patients with fructose intolerance should avoid it. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid taking this medication, as its safety has not been fully established. It is also advisable for breastfeeding women to avoid taking this medication, as its safety is not clearly established. Individuals with gastritis or gastric ulcers should consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Children under 2 years old should receive a doctor's evaluation before taking this medication and should not be administered it unless absolutely necessary. Consult with a healthcare professional if taking this medication alongside other cough suppressants as interactions may occur. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting may arise during the course of taking this medication; if such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional.
