Essential Hypertension: It is recommended to administer 80 mg orally once daily as valsartan. If blood pressure control is inadequate, the dose may be increased to 160 mg per day, and a maximum of 320 mg may be reached. Patients with kidney impairment: For those with a creatinine clearance of 10 to 20 mL/min, start with 40 mg orally once daily. If the clearance is less than 10 mL/min, this drug should not be administered.
Child dose
Safety and efficacy have not been established in children and adolescents under 18 years, so it should not be administered.

This medication is used for the treatment of essential hypertension and is also effective in patients with heart failure who cannot use ACE inhibitors. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of death in stable patients with decreased left ventricular function after myocardial infarction. It is widely used for managing hypertension and heart failure, and for prevention after myocardial infarction.

How to take

Adult dose

Essential Hypertension: It is recommended to administer 80 mg orally once daily as valsartan. If blood pressure control is inadequate, the dose may be increased to 160 mg per day, and a maximum of 320 mg may be reached. Elderly patients (75 years and older): Start with 40 mg orally once daily. Precautions

This drug can cause severe harm to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. In the event of an overdose, symptoms such as low blood pressure and decreased consciousness may occur, so immediate medical attention should be sought for appropriate treatment. This drug should be stored out of reach of children and not transferred to other containers as it helps maintain quality.
