This medication is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis, acute gout, and dysmenorrhea. It is also effective for bursitis, skeletal muscle disorders (sprains, strains, trauma, low back pain), postoperative pain, migraine headaches, and pain following tooth extraction, helping to relieve various types of pain and inflammation.

How to take

Adult dose

1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: Administer 250-500 mg of naproxen orally twice a day (every 12 hours). 2. Precautions

People who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Excessive alcohol intake increases the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taking this medication. This medication may have effects on the cardiovascular system and may increase the risk of serious thrombotic events such as myocardial infarction or stroke. Individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should be especially cautious and closely monitor any cardiovascular symptoms while taking this medication. This medication can lead to serious gastrointestinal issues such as bleeding, ulcers, and perforation; therefore, if any gastrointestinal symptoms occur while taking it, you should seek medical attention immediately. Especially for elderly patients, the risk for these gastrointestinal problems is higher. Patients with a history of peptic ulcers, severe blood disorders, significantly reduced liver or kidney function, severe cardiac failure, severe hypertension, and those with known allergies to this medication's components, as well as individuals who are hypersensitive to aspirin or have asthma, should not take this medication. Patients with a history of peptic ulcers, blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, liver or kidney issues, cardiac dysfunction, hypertension, allergic reactions, asthma, autoimmune diseases, or elderly patients should take extreme caution when using this medication. During treatment, adverse reactions such as shortness of breath, lowered blood pressure, skin rash, gastrointestinal bleeding, blood disorders, liver or kidney abnormalities, headaches, insomnia, skin rashes, auditory disturbances, and swelling may occur, and you should discontinue use and consult a physician immediately upon their occurrence. This medication may interact with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, specific anticonvulsants, antidiabetic medications, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, diuretics, aspirin, lithium, methotrexate, anticoagulants, etc., so you must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking them together. This medication should not be taken during pregnancy, especially in the later stages, as taking it after 20 weeks of gestation can affect fetal kidney function; it should only be used in minimal doses if absolutely necessary. Breastfeeding women are advised not to take this medication as it can be transmitted through breast milk and may cause adverse effects in infants. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or naproxen derivatives. Anticonvulsants from the hydantoin class, sulfonamides, sulfonylurea antidiabetics, propranolol and other beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors (such as captopril), loop and thiazide diuretics, probenecid, aspirin, lithium, methotrexate, warfarin and other coumarin anticoagulants, zidovudine, and quinolone antibiotics (such as enoxacin) may interact.
