View approved original text

This medication is used to effectively lower and manage blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. It can also be safely used in heart failure patients who are intolerant to ACE inhibitors and helps reduce the mortality risk in patients with decreased left ventricular function after a myocardial infarction. Through these actions, it helps to regulate blood pressure and protect cardiac function, thus improving overall cardiovascular health.
