Precautions

This medication can put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Due to the presence of acetaminophen, there is a risk of liver damage, so care should be taken not to exceed a daily dosage of 4,000mg, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. If any abnormal symptoms such as rash, itching, or redness appear while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, due to the pseudoephedrine component, serious skin reactions can occur infrequently, so if fever, erythema, or small blisters appear, discontinue use and consult an expert. This medication should not be used by individuals with specific diseases or those taking certain medications, particularly those with severe hypertension, kidney disease, infants, and those taking MAO inhibitors; consultation with a professional is necessary prior to use. It is safe not to take this medication together with cough medications, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, the elderly, or those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases should consult their doctor or pharmacist thoroughly before using this medication. If serious symptoms such as rash, vomiting, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occur, discontinue use immediately and visit a healthcare facility. This medication should not be used in children under the age of 2, and if needed, should be taken under the direction of a physician. Follow the prescribed usage and dosage and avoid long-term use and alcohol consumption. Additionally, as drowsiness may occur, caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery.
