View approved original text

This medication is primarily used to treat essential hypertension and can also be used safely in heart failure patients who are intolerant to ACE inhibitors (especially in cases classified as NYHA class II to IV). Furthermore, it helps reduce the risk of mortality in patients with left ventricular dysfunction after myocardial infarction. This medication effectively controls blood pressure, reduces the burden on the heart, improves symptoms of heart failure, and helps prevent complications following myocardial infarction. Therefore, it is used for managing hypertension, improving symptoms of heart failure, and reducing the risk after myocardial infarction.
