Precautions

This medication is used to treat asthma and allergic rhinitis. During use, abnormal psychiatric symptoms may occur, so patients and guardians should pay attention to new symptoms such as anxiety, depression, aggressive behavior, and suicidal ideation. If such symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult a physician immediately. Additionally, this medication contains aspartame, an artificial sweetener, which should be restricted in patients with phenylketonuria. This medication should not be administered to patients with genetic problems such as galactose intolerance or lactase deficiency. After administration, adverse reactions such as fatigue, headache, dyspepsia, cough, and rash may occur, and symptoms should be monitored. Particularly, this medication is not to be used as an emergency treatment when asthma acutely exacerbates, so it is important to always carry a rescue inhaler. Care should be taken not to take aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs during use, which is especially important for patients with aspirin hypersensitivity. If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a physician before use, and caution is also needed for children and the elderly. In cases of overdose, there is no specific antidote, so general symptomatic treatment and following a physician's instructions are necessary. Finally, keep this medication out of the reach of children and do not transfer it to other containers.
