This medication is used to treat conjunctival epithelial disorders caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane pemphigoid (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), and dry eye syndrome, as well as exogenous diseases resulting from surgery, drug-induced conditions, trauma, or contact lens wear.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop of 0.1% or 0.3% preparation 5-6 times a day. Adjust according to symptoms. Usually, the 0.1% preparation is administered, and if the effect is insufficient in severe cases, the 0.3% preparation is used.

Precautions

This product is an eye drop. First, individuals allergic to any of the ingredients or protein-derived medications should not use this product. While using, symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, eye redness, or inflammation of the cornea may occur. If these symptoms arise, usage should be stopped immediately, and a doctor should be consulted. Additionally, eye discharge or eye pain may rarely occur, so caution is advised. When using this medication alongside steroids or other eye drops, side effects may manifest more prominently, hence caution is required. If using other eye drops, these should be administered first followed by this product after about 30 minutes. This medication is intended for use in the eyes only, and care should be taken to prevent the tip of the container from contacting the eye or eyelashes. If the tip comes into contact with the eyelid or eyelashes, contamination of the medication may occur. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded, and any remaining solution should be disposed of after opening. It is advisable not to share this medication with others. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store it in a cool place. Also, transferring the medication to another container should be avoided to maintain its quality.
