This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of the cold including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Daytime Use: 2 capsules, twice a day, taken 30 minutes after meals Nighttime Use: 2 capsules, once a day, taken 30 minutes after meals Take the nighttime dose after 6 hours have passed since the daytime dose.

Child dose

Daytime Use: 1 capsule, twice a day, taken 30 minutes after meals Nighttime Use: 1 capsule, once a day, taken 30 minutes after meals Take the nighttime dose after 6 hours have passed since the daytime dose.

Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily, as it may cause liver damage. Additionally, very rarely serious skin reactions can occur due to the acetaminophen component in this medication. If a rash or hypersensitivity occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000 mg, and caution should be exercised as taking this medication with other products may increase the risk of liver damage. The pseudoephedrine component in this medication can cause severe skin adverse reactions, so if fever or small blisters appear on the skin, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. Individuals who have experienced hypersensitivity or asthma, infants under 3 months, or those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medication. Moreover, simultaneous use with cough or phlegm medications, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, and antihistamines should be avoided. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with certain allergic conditions, liver or kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, and pregnant women should talk to a professional before taking this medication. If abnormal symptoms such as rash, nausea, or dizziness occur during use, discontinue and consult a doctor immediately. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage, and should not be used for prolonged periods. Supervision by a guardian is necessary for children taking this medication. Avoid alcohol during use, and be aware that drowsiness may occur; refrain from driving or operating machinery.
