This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of the cold including sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults take 1 tablet per dose, 3 times a day, after meals, 30 minutes.

Precautions

This medication may burden the liver; therefore, those who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions; if a rash or allergy symptoms appear after taking it, immediately stop taking the medication and consult a professional. As it contains acetaminophen, care should be taken not to exceed a maximum daily dosage of 4000mg, and it should not be taken in conjunction with other products containing acetaminophen. Do not take this medication if you are allergic to it or its components, have experienced asthma attacks, are infants under 3 months old, have a specific genetic lactose intolerance, or are currently taking or have recently stopped taking MAO inhibitors. It is safer not to take this medication with other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Infants with chickenpox or influenza and children under 15 years old should consult a doctor before taking this medication, and individuals with a history of allergies or previous drug allergy symptoms should also consult a professional. People with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, gastrointestinal diseases, the elderly, and women who are pregnant or nursing should also consult a doctor before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, or shortness of breath occur during use, immediately stop taking the medication and consult with a healthcare provider. Children under 2 years old should not take this medication except in special cases, and in such situations, the physician's instructions should be followed. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines, avoid long-term use, and refrain from drinking alcohol during the treatment period. Care should be taken as certain antidepressants or alcohol could affect the metabolism of acetaminophen when taken together. When taken with a specific antibiotic such as Flucloxacillin, this medication can rarely lead to severe metabolic acidosis; if such symptoms are suspected, immediately discontinue use and consult a professional. Store in a place out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep it in a cool, dry place. Also, for maintaining quality, it is preferable not to transfer to another container.

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor → severe allergic reaction
  • Severe rash with high fever, blisters, peeling of skin, pain in oral/ocular mucous membranes → severe skin adverse reaction
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attack, respiratory issues with cough + fever → respiratory problem
  • Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver issues (jaundice)

Mild side effects

Rash, redness, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Do not take this medication with cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines.
