Precautions

This medication should not be administered to patients with phenylketonuria. The artificial sweetener aspartame contained in this medication is broken down into phenylalanine in the body, which can be harmful to those with this condition. Additionally, since this medication contains lactose, individuals with genetic disorders such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid taking it. This medication is not for use during acute asthma attacks; appropriate emergency medication should be used during acute symptoms, and this medication should be taken regularly even when asthma symptoms are absent. During treatment, neuropsychiatric symptoms such as anxiety, depression, hallucinations, or behavioral changes may occur, and if such symptoms arise, medical consultation should be sought immediately. Individuals with hypersensitivity to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid taking these medications while using this drug, and those with exercise-induced asthma should not use this medication alone but in conjunction with inhaled bronchodilators. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, use should be discussed with a physician as needed, and caution should also be exercised when prescribing to children or the elderly. In the event of an overdose, no specific antidote exists, so treatment should be directed by a physician based on symptoms, and since this medication is sensitive to light, it should be taken immediately after preparation. Finally, keep this medication out of the reach of children and avoid transferring it to other containers.
