Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day, as it may cause liver damage. Severe skin reactions, such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, may occur due to the pseudoephedrine component in this medication; if fever, rash, or small blisters develop, stop using immediately and consult a professional. Since this medication contains acetaminophen, it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing medications to prevent liver strain, and co-administration with other drugs must be avoided. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, and those currently taking or who have recently stopped taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medicine. During use, medications containing cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines should not be taken together. Particularly, children suspected of having or having contracted chickenpox or influenza, those with allergies, or individuals suffering from liver, kidney, heart, or other diseases, as well as women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, should definitely consult a professional before use. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, or discomfort arise while taking this medication, it should be stopped immediately, and medical help should be sought; immediate treatment is necessary if severe allergic reactions or skin disease symptoms occur. It is crucial to adhere to the dosage instructions, avoid long-term use, and refrain from drinking alcohol while using as drowsiness may occur, making driving or operating machinery unsafe. Lastly, this medication should be stored out of reach of children, kept away from direct sunlight, and stored in a sealed container in a cool, dry place, without transferring to another container.
