How to take

Adult dose

This medication is administered orally in two divided doses, without regard to meals. The dosing and titration vary depending on neuropathic pain (peripheral and central), epilepsy, and fibromyalgia. Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior, so you should inform your healthcare provider immediately if you experience depression or mood changes while taking it. Patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or a hereditary issue with lactose intolerance should not take it. Diabetic patients should be cautious as weight gain may make blood sugar control more difficult, and if symptoms of angioedema appear, the medication should be stopped immediately. Elderly patients are at risk of falls due to dizziness or drowsiness and may experience changes in vision such as blurred vision.
