Child dose
Safety and efficacy data is insufficient for children under 12 years old and adolescents aged 12 to 17, so use is not recommended.

This medicine is used in adults to treat peripheral and central neuropathic pain. Additionally, in patients with epilepsy, it can be used as an adjunctive therapy for partial seizures regardless of secondary generalization. It also helps alleviate the symptoms of fibromyalgia. Overall, this medication is effectively used for neuropathic pain, partial seizures in epilepsy, and fibromyalgia.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication contains pregabalin and should be orally administered twice daily, regardless of food. 1. Neuropathic Pain 1) Peripheral Neuropathic Pain The starting dose is 150 mg daily, which may be escalated to 300 mg daily after 3 to 7 days. If necessary, the dose may be increased to a maximum of 600 mg daily at intervals of 7 days. 2) Central Neuropathic Pain The starting dose is 150 mg daily.

Child dose

Precautions

This drug may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or behaviors, so it is important to closely monitor for symptoms of depression or mood changes during treatment. In early pregnancy, there is a risk of fetal deformity, so women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should consult a doctor before use. This drug may cause dizziness and drowsiness, requiring caution while driving or operating dangerous machinery. Severe skin reactions may rarely occur; discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel if symptoms such as rash, blisters, or fever appear. In the event of an overdose, symptoms such as confusion, depression, and seizures may occur, requiring immediate medical attention. Store out of reach of children and do not transfer the medication to another container.
