Improvement of blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes
This medication is used to improve blood sugar control in patients with type 2 diabetes. It works by combining Glymeperide and Metformin to assist meal therapy and exercise therapy, effectively helping to lower blood sugar levels. Thus, this medication plays an important role in blood sugar management, aiding in the treatment of diabetes.
This medication is administered 1 to 2 times a day, right before meals or with meals. Treatment may start at a low dose, and the dosage may be gradually increased based on blood sugar monitoring results. In clinical studies, the initial daily dose was 2mg/500mg of Glymeperide/Metformin Hydrochloride, and doses as high as 8mg/2000mg have been administered. When used as an alternative therapy for combination therapy, it should be dosed according to the currently used Glymeperide and Metformin.
