How to take

Adult dose

As cetylpyridinium chloride, take 1.5mg (1 piece) 4-5 times a day, allowing it to dissolve slowly in the mouth without chewing or swallowing. Adjust dosage appropriately according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame. Aspartame is converted to phenylalanine in the body, so it should not be used by patients with phenylketonuria, a hereditary condition that requires restriction of phenylalanine intake. Patients prone to allergic contact dermatitis should be cautious when using this medication. If symptoms of hypersensitivity, such as skin rash, occur while taking this medication, use should be discontinued immediately. Additionally, neurological symptoms such as high fever or headache may occur, as well as gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea. If hypersensitivity reactions such as rash, urticaria, erosion, or burning sensation in the oral and pharyngeal areas occur, the medication should be stopped. Children under 3 years old should absolutely not use this medication due to the risk of swallowing it. When taking the medication, it is recommended to dissolve it slowly with saliva to allow the active ingredient to remain in the mouth for a longer duration, and it should not be chewed or swallowed quickly. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, kept away from direct sunlight, and placed in a cool, dry place. It is also important not to transfer the medication into another container to prevent misuse.
