If there are changes such as anxiety, aggressive behavior, depression, hallucinations, or suicidal thoughts while taking this drug, consult a physician immediately. This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, so patients with the hereditary condition phenylketonuria should avoid use. Patients who have a hypersensitivity to this drug should not use it, and some asthma patients may experience side effects such as fatigue, headache, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, cough, and rash. Particularly, children and the elderly can use this medication, but caution regarding age is necessary, and safety has not been established in infants under 6 months of age. In the case of an acute asthma attack, this medication is not suitable as a treatment, so always have a rescue inhaler ready. Patients with hypersensitivity to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid using these medications while taking this drug. This drug can be used with other asthma treatments, but it should not be abruptly switched with other corticosteroids. During pregnancy, it should be used cautiously only if necessary, and caution is also needed during breastfeeding.
