This medication is used to relieve various cold symptoms such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, throat pain, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication may put stress on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks of alcohol per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Due to ingredients in this medication, severe skin reactions may rarely occur; if rash or allergic symptoms develop, immediately discontinue use and consult a professional. As this product contains acetaminophen, do not exceed the maximum daily dosage, and do not take with other products containing acetaminophen. Severe skin reactions may occur due to certain ingredients; if fever or red spots and small blisters appear on the skin, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, a history of asthma, infants under 3 months of age, those taking certain antidepressants, or those with severe hypertension or serious kidney disease should not take this medication. It is safer not to take this medication with cough medicine, other cold medications, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Those allergic to the dyes in this product should take caution. Children who have had or are suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific allergic conditions, liver, kidney, or heart diseases, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a professional before use. If any abnormal symptoms like rash, itching, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, or shortness of breath occur while taking this medication, immediately stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist; if symptoms do not improve after taking the medication 5 to 6 times, seek professional advice. Children under the age of 2 should not use this medication. If necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. Be sure to follow the prescribed dosage and frequency, avoid long-term use, and refrain from alcohol consumption during treatment. Drowsiness may occur during use, so avoid driving or operating machinery; caution is needed as certain medications may affect liver function when taken concurrently. When this medication is taken with certain antibiotics, severe metabolic abnormalities may occur; if symptoms are suspected, stop use immediately. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with antitussives (cough suppressants), expectorants, other cold medications, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Those currently taking MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson's medications, etc.) or who have stopped taking them within the last two weeks should not take this medication. It may interact with medications for diabetes, gout, arthritis, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, and tricyclic antidepressants.

Food interactions

Do not consume alcohol while taking this medication.
