Adult dosage

Ages 15 and up: Take 2 capsules 3 times a day

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age. People who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients should not take it. Individuals taking or having stopped MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or antiparkinsonian drugs) within the last 2 weeks should not take this medication. It is safer not to take other cough medicines, expectorants, cold medicines, antihistamines, or sedatives while taking this medication. Individuals with allergic tendencies or those who have previously experienced allergy symptoms such as fever, rash, or itching due to medication should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. People with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, elderly individuals, or those who are weak or have a high fever should also consult a professional before taking this medication. Pregnant or possibly pregnant women and nursing mothers must consult with medical staff before taking this medication. Smokers, those with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or persistent cough with excessive phlegm should consult with a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, urinary difficulties, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and inform medical personnel. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. Children under 2 years of age should not take this medication, and if necessary, should seek medical advice. It is important to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and for children under 7 years old, it is recommended to use syrup preparations instead. Alcohol should not be consumed while taking this medication, and caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery as drowsiness may occur. Keep this medication out of the reach of children, store in a cool, dry place avoiding direct sunlight, and keep sealed. Additionally, it is important not to transfer it to another container to maintain its quality.

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or antiparkinsonian drugs), other cough suppressants, cold medicines, oral medications containing antihistamines (oral agents for rhinitis, motion sickness medications, allergy medications), or sedatives. Additionally, do not take this medication if it has been less than 2 weeks since stopping MAO inhibitors.

Food interactions

Do not consume alcohol while taking this medication.

This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it must be stored in a tightly sealed container. The recommended storage temperature is between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature. This will help maintain the effectiveness of the medication.
