This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of colds. It specifically reduces runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, and phlegm. It is also effective for systemic symptoms such as chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain, helping the patient to recover more comfortably. Overall, it is used for the relief of cold symptoms.
1 capsule for adults, taken three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.
This medication may affect the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. The acetaminophen ingredient contained in this medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if a rash or hypersensitivity reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen is 4,000 mg, and it is important to ensure that the total dosage of all acetaminophen-containing products, including this medication, does not exceed this limit. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or its components, have a history of asthma exacerbations, are infants under three months of age, or are currently taking or have recently stopped certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medication. During this medication, it should not be taken with cough medicines, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children who have had or are suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic conditions or previous drug allergy symptoms, or those with major organ diseases of the liver, kidneys, or heart must consult a professional before use. Pregnant or potentially pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers should discuss this medication with a doctor and it is advised to avoid medications containing certain antipyretic ingredients. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, or insomnia occur during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a professional. In particular, immediate medical attention is required for severe allergic reactions, skin diseases, worsening of asthma, or symptoms of liver dysfunction. Children under two years of age should avoid taking this medication, except in special cases, and must follow a doctor's instructions when taking it. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency, avoid long-term use, and refrain from drinking alcohol during use. This medication may cause drowsiness, so caution is required when driving or operating machinery. Co-administration with certain medications may slow the metabolism of acetaminophen, so consult a professional before co-administration. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a sealed container away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. To maintain quality, care should be taken to avoid transferring to other containers.
