Relief of nasal congestion and rhinorrhea caused by common cold (acute rhinitis), allergic rhinitis
This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, sneezing, and heaviness of the head caused by the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.
Adults: Spray twice in each nostril. Maintain an interval of more than 3 hours between doses, and do not exceed 6 times daily.
Children aged 7 to under 15 years: Spray once in each nostril. Maintain an interval of more than 3 hours between doses, and do not exceed 6 times daily.
This medicine should not be used in children under 7 years old. It is also safe not to use if there has been a history of allergic reactions to this medicine or its components. People taking specific medications such as antidepressants or antipsychotics, especially MAO inhibitors, should consult a healthcare professional before using this medicine, particularly if they have stopped taking such medications within the past 2 weeks. It is important for individuals with a history of allergic reactions to drugs, such as rash, itching, or swelling, to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Individuals with chronic conditions such as hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid problems, or glaucoma should consult a healthcare professional before using this medicine. Women who are pregnant or could become pregnant should also consult a healthcare professional before using this medicine. Smokers or those with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or a cough lasting longer than a week should definitely consult a doctor before use of this medicine. If abnormal symptoms such as rash, swelling, irritation, or itching occur while using this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after 3 days of use, a professional medical consultation is necessary. This medicine contains propylene glycol, so individuals allergic or sensitive to this component should use it with caution. The prescribed dosage must be strictly adhered to, as excessive use can worsen nasal congestion. This medicine is for nasal spray use only and should never be used in the eyes or ears. It is advisable to avoid sharing this medicine with multiple people due to the risk of contamination. It is safe not to use this medicine continuously for more than 7 days. During the use of this medicine, alcohol consumption should be avoided, and when used in children, it must be under the supervision of a guardian. Moreover, this medicine contains benzalkonium chloride, which can cause bronchospasm or irritation and swelling of the nasal mucosa, so prolonged use should be avoided. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, protect it from direct sunlight, and store it in a cool, moisture-free, airtight place. Finally, for quality maintenance, it is recommended not to transfer it to another container.
