Adult dose

For improvement of ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and coldness due to thromboangiitis obliterans (Buerger disease), the usual adult dose is 2 tablets orally 3 times daily. For improvement of subjective symptoms (lower-limb pain and numbness) and walking ability due to acquired lumbar spinal canal stenosis (patients with normal SLR test results and bilateral intermittent claudication), the usual adult dose is 1 tablet orally 3 times daily. The dose may be adjusted according to age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used in pregnant women or women who may become pregnant. This medication contains lactose, and should not be administered to patients with genetic disorders that prevent lactose digestion. Patients with a tendency to bleed or those taking antiplatelet agents, thrombolytics, or anticoagulants should use this medication with caution. While taking this medication, hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash or itching may occur; if such symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately. Additionally, bleeding may rarely occur, so it should be carefully monitored and the administration should be stopped if any abnormal symptoms appear. Gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, decreased appetite, and heartburn may occur, so symptoms should be closely monitored. It may affect liver function, potentially leading to elevated liver values, so regular testing is necessary. Symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, cold extremities, or low blood pressure may occasionally occur. Headache, facial flushing, dizziness, warmth, fatigue, edema, body trembling, increased leg hair, and anemia may also seldom occur. Patients with lumbar spinal canal stenosis should carefully monitor changes in their symptoms to determine whether to continue using this medication. The effectiveness of this medication is uncertain for patients with severe lumbar spinal canal stenosis requiring surgery. The safety of this medication during pregnancy has not been confirmed, and uterine contractions have been reported in animal studies, hence it should not be used in pregnant women. The safety for children has not been established, and there is no experience with use in this population. Elderly patients may have reduced bodily functions, so dosage may need to be decreased as necessary. Administering high doses to healthy adults can temporarily lower blood pressure, so caution is advised.

Store this medication in a sealed container as it may be sensitive to air or moisture. It is recommended to maintain storage temperatures between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius (room temperature). Proper storage will help maintain the medication's effectiveness and ensure safe usage.
