This medication is primarily used for symptoms of cough and phlegm.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For individuals aged 15 years and older, take 1 capsule three times a day.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age. Individuals who have had an allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to this drug or any of its components should not take it. People who are taking or have stopped taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or anti-Parkinson's medications within the past 2 weeks should also refrain from using this drug. It is advisable to not take this drug concurrently with other cough medicines, cold medications, antihistamines, or sedatives during treatment. Individuals with allergies, a history of medication allergic reactions, liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, elderly individuals, those who are physically frail, or have a high fever should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should seek professional advice before use. Those who have a cough due to smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or lasting for more than one week, and coughs accompanied by fever or rash, headache, should consult a professional before taking this medication. This medication contains a pigment called Yellow No. 5, so those with allergies to this component should be cautious. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, urinary difficulties, intense thirst, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, discontinue use and consult a professional. Children under 2 years of age should not normally be given this medication, and in necessary cases, a doctor's consultation is required. It is important to accurately follow the dosage and administration; for children under 7 years old, it is advisable to use syrup preparation instead of soft capsules. Avoid alcohol during treatment, and since drowsiness may occur, refrain from driving or operating machinery. Store this medication out of reach of children, and keep it sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, to maintain quality, do not transfer to other containers.
