View approved original text

This medication is used to treat essential hypertension, effectively lowering blood pressure to protect blood vessels and the heart. It is also used among heart failure patients with impaired left ventricular systolic function who require additional treatment with ACE inhibitors or who are intolerant to ACE inhibitors. Thus, it helps reduce the burden on the heart and improve function, thereby enhancing cardiovascular health in patients through blood pressure control and heart failure treatment.
