Precautions

This medication is a corticosteroid for nasal use that helps relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis or rhinitis. However, patients with allergic reactions to any of the ingredients in this medication or those with untreated infections in the nasal mucosa should not use it. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid use in children under 2 years old or in patients who have recently undergone nasal surgery or have wounds in the nasal area. Patients with active tuberculosis, systemic infections, or herpes simplex eye infections should use this medication with caution, and those with recurrent nosebleeds should be careful. Women who are at risk of varicella or measles, pregnant, or breastfeeding should consult their doctor before using this medication. Long-term use may cause changes in the nasal mucosa, so regular check-ups are advised, and treatment may be necessary if local fungal infections occur. During the course of using this medication, side effects such as nosebleeds, headaches, upper respiratory infections, pharyngitis, and cough may occur, and rarely, serious allergic reactions like anaphylaxis may arise, so usage should be immediately discontinued, and medical attention should be sought if abnormal symptoms occur. Particularly when used in children, growth delay may be a possibility, so growth should be regularly monitored, and the minimum effective dose is recommended. The risk of side effects may increase when using this medication alongside other systemic corticosteroid drugs, thus it should be used carefully under the guidance of a physician. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should carefully consider the effects on the fetus or newborn while using this medication, and if necessary, consult a doctor. Furthermore, long-term or high-dose use of this medication can manifest systemic corticosteroid side effects, requiring caution. Before use, shake the container well, and avoid using the spray more than the prescribed number of times and ensure not to spray directly into the eyes or on the nasal septum. Keep out of reach of children, and the effect on driving or operating machinery is not known. Lastly, this medication may interact with certain drugs, so it is important to consult a doctor or pharmacist if taking other medications.
