Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. Firstly, patients who are allergic or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions to this drug or any of its ingredients should not use it. Additionally, patients with untreated infections of the nasal mucosa or who have had recent nasal surgery or have wounds in the nose should not use this drug. Particularly, infants under 2 years of age should not be given this medication. Caution is required for other patients when using this medication. Patients with active or latent tuberculosis, untreated systemic infections, or herpes simplex in the eyes must use it with caution. Patients who frequently experience nosebleeds, or are at risk for infections such as chickenpox or measles should also be cautious. Women with nasal polyps, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women should also exercise special caution when using this drug. Possible side effects while using this medication include headache, viral infections, pharyngitis, nosebleeds, cough, upper respiratory tract infections, and in some patients, adverse reactions may develop that require discontinuation of treatment. Rarely, severe allergic reactions such as bronchospasm or anaphylaxis can occur, so if any abnormal symptoms appear, usage should be stopped immediately and a healthcare professional consulted. Long-term high-dose use may lead to systemic side effects, so caution is required, and if symptoms of bacterial infection develop, immediate consultation with a doctor is necessary. It is also important to regularly check the condition of the nasal mucosa for abnormalities. This drug may increase the risk of side effects when used with other systemic corticosteroids, so careful monitoring is required during co-administration. Particularly caution is necessary when used with certain antifungals or antibiotics due to increased blood concentration. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consider the effects on the fetus or infant when using this medication, and it should be used under the guidance of a physician. When administered to children, monitoring for potential growth delay is necessary, and safety in children under 2 years has not been established. Elderly patients should be carefully monitored during administration due to decreased bodily function. In case of overdose, specific treatment is not required, but side effects related to excessive systemic corticosteroids may occur, so caution is required. Shake the container well before use and perform a specific number of test sprays before using it, ensuring not to spray directly into the eyes or towards the nasal septum. Keep out of the reach of children, and this medication is not known to affect driving or machine operation.
