Additionally, patients with tuberculosis, fungal infections, viral infections, or ocular herpes, those prone to recurrent nosebleeds, individuals at risk for varicella or measles, specific nasal disorders, pregnant or nursing women should exercise caution when using this drug. When using this medication, various side effects may occur, such as headache, nosebleeds, throat irritation, infections, and cough, with rare serious allergic reactions or anaphylaxis possible. If unusual symptoms arise, consult a healthcare professional immediately. Using this medication at high doses for an extended period may cause systemic steroid side effects and hinder the healing of nasal mucosal wounds, so caution is necessary. Patients who use this medication for a long time should undergo regular check-ups to monitor changes in the nasal mucosa, and if a nasal fungal infection develops, the use of the medication may need to be discontinued or treated. Special attention is needed when patients receiving systemic steroid therapy switch to this medication due to the potential for adrenal insufficiency or withdrawal symptoms. For patients at risk of infections such as varicella or measles, monitoring and infection prevention are essential, and immediate medical attention is required if infected. When used in children, there is a possibility of growth delay, so growth should be monitored regularly. This medication is not established for safety in children under 2 years of age. Pregnant or nursing women should consult with a doctor before using this medication, considering the potential impact on the fetus or infant carefully. Elderly patients may have reduced bodily functions, so their condition should be closely monitored during administration. This medication may interact with other drugs, and especially when used with certain antifungal or antibiotic medications, the risk of side effects may increase, so follow doctor's instructions. In cases of overdose, special treatment is not required, but caution is necessary as systemic steroid side effects may occur.
