Efficacy & effects

Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Amlodipine or olmesartan medoxomil is used in patients with essential hypertension when blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy. These medications lower blood pressure, reducing the burden on the heart and blood vessels, and help effectively control blood pressure, thus reducing the risk of complications. Proper blood pressure management is crucial for maintaining health and contributing to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
